I’m Suzanne Arthur, and my partner, the in-house code ninja, is Ev Miles. We’re cooking up a feast of practical pointers to help you start your own Web business.

Our internet businesses have been paying the bills since 2004. We started the Online Business Cookbook as a place for step-by-step recipes that will show you how to make a living online.

You can do this too. All it takes is a rock-steady desire to succeed, the willingness to focus and the discipline to pull it off.

Ev and I have been making our living online since 2004.

We started out by writing and marketing a ‘how-to’ eBook, thinking that if it sold, it might bring in a decent side-income. That eBook did sell. And sell. I wrote three more, and Ev expanded that first Web site into a thriving membership site.

We now have four Web ventures. This blog is here to help you get started with an internet business of your own.

Ev is a composer, insanely good drummer and persistent autodidact. I’m a musician, teacher and marketing manager. I was a freelance editor and writer before our Web business was born. We live with three cats in Asheville, NC.

Creating our own internet business has changed our lives significantly. We get to help people, and they pay us well because they appreciate our service. This element of service is so much fun for us. It’s what makes this business more than just a job. We get to turn off our computers every night knowing we helped someone start cooking up their own financial independence.
